The Soundscape by Kamau Abayomi – Afro-diaspora-rhythmic
soulful, funky, bass-filled, ancestral ambient, celestial and deep meta-groove
meditations.
Special focus is given to a balance of soul stirring
instrumental tracks mixed with songs featuring spiritually aware and uplifting
lyrics. Each track is presented within the context of a journey through the
dimensions of being, with the intention of releasing, letting go, opening,
expanding and elevating. Thus, a variety of genres, rhythms and tempos are
featured to activate this process. No one genre is played for more than 15
minutes along the journey which begins with ambient and downtempo and concludes
in meditative music and meditation for grounding. Infused throughout the
journey are inspirational words to guide the focus.
