Turn On and Sex Appeal

Friday, December 1, 2017 at 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm

Erwan Davon Teachings
2501 Harrison St #015,
San Francisco, CA

At this workshop with psychotherapist and Relationship- and Dating Coach Meriana Dinkova and Relationship & Sexuality Coaches Erwan and Alicia Davon we will dive deep into the topic of getting turned on.

This will be a magical evening where the trio will allow you to unpack, reveal and get to the bottom of how to increase your turn-on and sex appeal.

In a time where the biggest crisis in romantic relationships is the loss of desire over time and where 40 to 70% of partners in ‘monogamous’ admit to cheating there seems to be a crisis in working models of relating. There are more and more forms of relating than virginity till marriage. Today people are dating, having relationships of many different kinds, some monogamous, some not, some leading to ‘traditional marriage’ and many not.

Navigating the murky waters of erotic and romantic attraction, sex appeal and relationships is becoming more and more complex. The good news is that complex doesn’t have to mean complicated.

The meetup is a combination of lecture, stating and experiential exercises.

Couples and Singles are welcome!

Cost: $20 - $35

Psynchronize: Psygiving 2017

Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 10:59 PM - 5:59 AM

San Francisco, California

Psycircle joins forces with Synchronize to once again bring San Francisco psytrance the night before Thanksgiving!

Howdy kids! Unbelievable but it's November already. But what this really means for Psybabes here in NorCal is that we're almost due for our Annual Synchronize Psygiving Assembly where we gather the eve of Thanksgiving, recollect, reconnect, make new connections, and dance our hearts away into the very day where the entire nation observes a day of gratitude.

Now, y'all should know this almost didn't happen. Our good ol' home Il Pirata unfortunately signed on another group that blocks out every last Wednesday of the month. But as they say when one door closes, another opens. And indeed as the universe had another plan in mind to put this year's event on another level. Enter Psycircle to bridge the null to full manifestation of an ALL NIGHT event! How cool is that? So this year we're going to do something different, something very special in that I'm giving the bridge to our friends at Psycircle to produce the event. Which means they will provide the hydration needs, space, sound, and talent to treat y'all with a night of resonant healing we all love as psytrance. The line up will feature OG Synchronauts, Psycircle pilots, and special guests.

Without further ado, here's the Psygiving 2017 line up:

Featuring Psycircle potatoes+gravy with local turkeys:

···Bodhi ... ... ... http://www.soundcloud.com/bodhi1320
···Random ... ... https://soundcloud.com/djrandom-1
···Zul vs Barratt ... https://soundcloud.com/zularifin

+ Special Guest cranberries:

···Lali Shyama
With her roots in jungle music, Lali dedicated herself to turntablism and experimenting on Ableton over 10 years ago. Recently she has been seduced by the dark side of psychedelic music, finally uniting her with the sound she has always craved. The translation of her alias reflects her musical style, Lali; playful, Shyama; darkness.
www.soundcloud.com/lalishyama

···Aumra
This up-and-coming music magician is mastering the art of progressive psytrance and lucky for us making a stop here in San Francisco! The sound focuses on dark undulating atmospheres, low greasy and groovy lines, moist, and tribal fusion that creates a dark forest technology. Since the beginning of production, Aumra released with Climactic recs, Backflip recs, Visionary Shamanic Recs, and many others, as well as an upcoming EP scheduled for launch through Multifrequency recs at some point in early 2018.
www.soundcloud.com/aumramusic

The venue will feature security, outside smoking and chilling area, and get this, *** served all night long! As you can see kids, this isn't going to be a one-tapestry slap job we've become accustomed to at Il Pirata. This is a full production that will incur expense and as such, we will be charging for this event.

Cost: $20 presales or $25 cash at the door. Or $20 + canned good at the door. All proceeds after cost will be donated to San Francisco Food Bank.

A Path for Couples: Joyful Connection, Mindful Communication

Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Spirit Rock Meditation Center
5000 Sir Francis Drake Blvd,
Woodacre, CA

Most couples envision sharing a life of love and joy with each other. They look forward to deepened intimacy and inner discovery. Then somewhere along the way, they feel as though they are bushwhacking through a thicket of life’s issues.

They ask, “Is there a map or trail that will guide us on our journey?” This workshop offers a time-tested path for couples that leads partners towards the treasures that are hidden in their hearts. They discover that a joyful, awakened connection is possible. Partners will learn to be more mindful of their communication patterns, which can either draw them closer together or create distance.

Experiential exercises and guided partner meditations will give couples tools and inspiration to choose patterns that open hearts support awakening. Participants will learn specific practices, which will reignite the spark of an alive and growing love, and which can be done on an ongoing way at home.

These practices are contained in George’s new book, A Path for Couples: Ten Practices to Transform Your Relationship, which will be available at the workshop. Join us for this exciting celebration of the publication of the book, which is a repository of the wisdom and experience of George’s and Debra’s 35 year marriage and his 25 years as a couple's counselor.

Couples of any race, age or gender preference welcome.

Teachings are appropriate for meditators of all levels, as well as health care professionals.

Cost: $75 - $200 (sliding scale)

The Art of Flirting and Ecstatic Touch

Friday, November 24, 2017 at 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Iron Giant Loft
1080 23rd Ave
Oakland, CA 94606

Have you run into roadblocks on your way to your heart's desire? Has it been challenging to consistently find people (and sex!) of quality? What if it could be fun and easy to find the pleasure, flirtation, and affection you crave?

Relationship coach and sexuality facilitator Alex S. Morgan will pull out their tool kit and show you how to navigate flirting with more joy and less stress. Alex has helped hundreds of singles, couples, and moresomes of all genders and orientations get the love they want; come take a peek at their map and learn how to make your own journey easier and more fun!

You'll learn:
  • How to pull in what you want and drop what you don't
  • When you should say yes to no, say no to maybe, and answer a "yes" with action
  • How to figure out exactly what you need—and learn the formula that makes asking for it easier

By the end of this class, you will:
  • Discover the invitation that takes the stress out of flirting
  • Uncover what makes you authentically attractive to others
  • Know the three things you need to identify to overcome self-sabotaging attractions
  • Practice techniques you can use to flirt—and date—for sexual compatibility
  • Learn what a no really means for you, and how to make both hearing it and saying it less awkward

You'll have an opportunity to practice the flirting and negotiation skills we'll cover today—think of it as «lab time»—and will leave with a new set of tools to make your dating life and your sexual journey both easier and more fun.

Next, let Peter Petersen and Monique Darling help you learn how to empower your sensual conscious touch. Explore the tactile language of stimulating arousal, that touches the deepest part of our soul.
This experiential laboratory will include breathing and chakra balancing meditation, and playful, non-sexual massage. Monique will guide you through an odyssey of touch, that lets you explore the four elements, on/through each other.

First you will go on a journey using the most intimate form of touch, our breath. We’ll be introducing an ancient ritual where you will explore each other's bodies, magnifying your connection physically, energetically, and spiritually. Then, align your chakras through touch, breath, connection, and shared intent.

Next comes earth touch, as you ground, and re-center, massage, nurture, hold, BE with one another...

Followed by fire, as you invigorate, entice, awaken, arouse, "heat" up yourself and your partner...

Cooling down with water touch, fluid, soft, caressing, gentle, swaying, following, gliding.

With each element, drop even deeper into your embodied bliss state as you learn to touch for YOUR pleasure, as you get to practice asking for the specific types of touch your body is craving/imagining at any moment.

Finally, Peter and Monique, being two massage enthusiasts, will lead you through some simple massage techniques for neck, hands, and feet and even throw in some of our own unique “black belt” tools that will leave your partner breathless and asking for more.

Bring a partner or come solo and be paired up with practice partners for the event so you can take these skills home and wow your lover!

Bring a water bottle and a curious, open mind. Wear comfy clothes that you can move around in. Please come without scented products so all attendees can fully engage.

Workshop: Healthy Joints with Yoga

Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 11 AM - 2 PM

855 Amherst Way,
Mountain View, CA 94043

This unique workshop based on personal experience of fighting rheumatoid arthritis, joint deformity with Yoga.

Have you ever heard the phrase “Move it or lose it”?

Staying mobile keeps joint cartilage and synovial fluid in the joints healthy, so Yoga exercise helps. Cartilage may be lost by immobilization.
The right amount of synovial fluid means that the ends of the bones, which are covered in cartilage, will slide easily when you move a joint, as opposed to the alternative of grinding.
If you struggle with joint pain and joint health, know that yoga has been found to be an appropriate option for those suffering from disorders that specifically affect joints such as osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis.

In this workshop, you will:
- practice unique Asana sequence for joint rejuvenation
- learn how relieve pain and discomfort in your shoulders, arms, wrist, hips and legs, spine and neck.
- focus on muscle strings & ligament flexibility around joins to keep them stable with full range motion.
- know how to deal with the primary factors associated with pain: physical, mental and emotional using Yoga tools
- listen about Sat Kriya - yogic mind/body cleanse (15 min info/lecture)
- practice deep relaxation/meditation to help alleviate chronic pain and tension
- chanting round OM to close the circle.

This yoga for arthritis, autoimmune conditions, and inflammation workshop isn’t for older people, it’s for people who feel older than they are.

You will leave having new tools to create a healthy lifestyle!

We provide herbal tea, essential oils, safety place, my knowledge & experience.
You bring your yoga mat, props (if you use some), comfortable clothes and open mind.

Softening Hard Edges of Difficult Emotions

Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Spirit Rock Meditation Center
5000 Sir Francis Drake Blvd,
Woodacre, CA

How do I work with my thoughts, fears, and beliefs in ways that nurture the dignity of all life?
How do I comfort my own raging heart in a sea of ignorance, distress, and violence?
How can my actions reflect the world I want to live in and leave for future generations?

In this daylong retreat, we will investigate our conditioning and explore the cycle of misperception. Through this inquiry, we will be able to drop below the turbulence of our distress.

Ruth King is a guiding teacher at Insight Meditation Community of Washington, a core teacher in Spirit Rock's Dedicated Practitioner Program, and founder of Mindful Members Insight Meditation Community in Charlotte, NC. Ruth is a life coach and consultant, and the author of Healing Rage.

Cost: $75 - $200 (sliding scale)
