Healing Through the Akashic Records

May 3 – 5, 2018 (Thursday – Saturday)

San Jose, CA

Healing Through the Akashic Records is the path to discovering your soul’s purpose and perfection! It is the path to transforming your sacred wounds into Divinely inherent goodness!

We all have wounds and want to heal them. Healing Through the Akashic Records is a profound journey of grace and unconditional love that transforms these wounds into sacred understandings of healing and discovery.

“You don’t have to wait for someone else to save you, fix you or relieve you of your distress – and in reality, no one else can do this for you anyway. Others can be supportive, but they can’t go to those places within you where the hurt is all-consuming. Only you can go there on your behalf.”–Linda Howe

Working in your Akashic Records using the Pathway Prayer Process, you will:
·         Identify your primary sacred wound – the painful event, person or circumstance that is holding you “hostage” and keeping you stuck in your wound;
·         Learn strategies to free you from your old ideas and limiting patterns;
·         Gain tools for making choices aligned with your highest good and most authentic self;
·         Experience three ways to activate the “Ascension Matrix” that helps you to actualize what your heart desires.

Dancing with props & finding your flow: Free Workshop

Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 6 PM - 9 PM

Flowspace
6315 Doyle St,
Emeryville, California

Find your flow through the flow arts - play and dance with props!

Taught by flow artist Remy June, this free workshop presented as part of Bay Area Dance Week takes you through a series of exercises that help you access the flowstate, and harness it into your dance and performance. It’s huge fun, and will have you grinning ear to ear :)

The workshop goes from 6-7pm, and will be followed by a free open community jam from 7-9pm, where you can play with a wide range of sample props, including poi, staffs, levitation dance wand, torofluxes, pixelwhips and more.

>>> What are the flow arts?
The flow arts encompasses the emerging movement-based artforms that integrate dance and creative exploration of movement with skill-based prop manipulation. The Flow Arts draw from a multitude of ancient and modern movement disciplines from Maori poi spinning to modern firedancing, from martial arts and taichi to circus arts and hula hooping.

The Flow Arts are a new way to dance, explore and interact with the physical world, a movement meditation practice, a fun and creative outlet, and a serious technical pursuit of mastery. For many of its practitioners, it is a way to achieve the mind-state known as “flow”, a state of optimal experience, also known as "the zone" or getting in a groove.

Dan Cantrell offers an astonishing array of auditory wonders. You will find what you never knew you were looking for, and when you dust it off and hold it close, it will sing to your heart. - Ana Harff - Tribal Mind Magazine
Dans work smacks of a collection of people who fell in love with music at an early age, studied it seriously and elected to give back to it versus get rich from it . . . and we are the richer for it. - Roger Andris -
This is Bulgarian dance music meets Mr. Bungle meets Carl Stallings meets Erik Satie meets a boggled mind (yours, that is, when you hear how it all holds together).-Paul McNees - Lacuna Music)

Lila Sklar (violin/vocals) became fascinated with the music of the Middle East and the Balkans in her early 20s and participated in a nationwide tour playing Turkish Sufi music with vocalist Latif Bolat. In addition to recording on many film and television productions, Lila has toured and performed extensively throughout the US, Japan, Europe, and the Middle East playing with such groups as Beats Antique, Bauhaus, Joanna Newsom, Rosin Coven, Bjork, The Quarta Dolce Quartet, Beulah, Gypsy Caravan, Sherefe, The Toids, and members of Cirque Du Soleil. He has composed music for over thirty films, several plays, a variety of dance pieces and other eclectic performance events, winning an Emmy. Drawn from Rosa’s classical ballet training, this methodology will teach you specialized techniques, concepts and drills to help you project from stage to the farthest reaches of the audience. Rosa will teach you to create aesthetically and physically pleasing lines in dance that are right for *your* body.

Ignite Your Sexual Creativity in Role Play

Friday, April 27, 2018 at 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM PDT

Iron Giant Loft
1080 23rd Ave
Oakland, CA

Ever wanted to try role playing in the bedroom, but not sure where to start? Do you or your lover have fantasies of being a naughty secretary, a double-agent kidnapped by a sexy spy, or the mature authority figure who firmly takes the lead? This is the perfect excuse to get dressed up, discover your sexy alter ego, and try out this very adult form of play.

Even if you feel silly just thinking about playing a character in bed, let kink facilitator Alex S. Morgan show you a few ways to aid your (and your partner's!) suspension of disbelief. We'll talk about role play fantasies you might want to try, outfits and props, what to say while "in character," and ways to add plot twists and depth to your erotic role play... perfect if you want to drive your partner wild. Come solo or bring a friend!

Next...

If talking dirty intimidates you, or if you just get tongue-tied, come learn from the pros! Hearing just the right words in the heat of the moment can set your lover off and add a new level of engagement to your play. Come learn how talking dirty can, rather than taking you out of the moment, make it easier for you and your partner to stay present during sex. We'll cover:

* How to get more comfortable using words during sex
* Finding the style of erotic talk that feels most natural for you
* Using intonation, rhythm, and pacing to heighten the charge between you both
* How to actually talk dirty: breaking down sample scripts from actual exchanges to show you how to put it all together

All genders, orientations, bodies, and races welcome 18+.

(This workshop is a PG-13 event. All exercises will be fully clothed. Any touch is opt-in and negotiated by the participants.)

Cost: $30/individual, $50 per pair
