You’re invited to the Southern Alameda County Buddhist Church’s
Buddhist Festival of Obon. We will have Buddhist Dancing, Japanese Music with the San Jose
Chidori Band, and Japanese Foods.
Fun for everyone! Colorful kimono-clad participants
gather for the Obon dance – a memorial day for our departed loved ones, and a
day to give thanks to them. With joy and gratitude, we honor and remember our
deceased loved ones, whose very existence has made our own lives possible.
