Award-winning vocalist and songwriter Roberta Donnay is
that rare species of musician who almost lives in another time: she and her
Prohibition Mob Band exist to revive the Jazz Age of America. Performing charts
reminiscent of Satchmo, Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, and more, this group is a
festival favorite. With a Downbeat magazine “Best Album” listing for 2015’s
Bathtub Gin, the group’s upcoming “Satchmo project” is in the works. What a
