Ever seen a picture drawn by dance? Or a lightshow
manipulated by movement?
Come to Creative Collisions: Light + Dance on Tuesday,
Aug. 2, and be dazzled by the possibilities when these creative elements
mingle.
Adobe will set up a next-gen light-painting station,
where hip-hop and breakdance artists from Future Arts Now! will draw with their
bodies, their movements and lights. We’ll also have dancers from the The New
Ballet School sashaying in the darkness, their movements reflected in a
stunning display by Tim Thompson’s Loopy Cam art project.
But we won’t let our guest artists have all the fun. Come
prepared to dive into the intersection of light and dance yourself! And code
your own light up wearables with kits by Rogue Making.
