Join us for a fun afternoon of Contact Yoga led by Anjuli
and Alok. This practice is a unique blend of Contact Improv, Partner Yoga and
Thai Massage. We will explore unique
ways of relating through weight sharing and counter-balance where traditional
yoga postures are deepened and enhanced.
This workshop will include a spectrum of therapeutic to
dynamic partner stretches, suitable for all levels. Contact Yoga opens the doors to playful
connection while challenging your edge.
We will end with a guided Thai massage sequence learning
to give and receive in the spirit of metta or ‘loving kindness’.
All levels are welcome and no partner is needed as we
regularly encourage switching partners. This workshop will leave you feeling
more connected, strong and flexible. You
will also come away with many amazing skills that you can share with your
friends and family.
Bring a yoga mat and your inquisitive, playful spirit!
Cost: $40 before October 23, and $50 thereafter
