Idan Raichel is a global music icon who has brought his inspiring example and
soul-stirring music to some of the planet's biggest stages. As the leader of
The Idan Raichel Project, Idan acts as a musical ambassador representing a
hopeful world in which artistic collaboration breaks down barriers between
people of different backgrounds and beliefs.
In his solo concerts, Idan Raichel shares with the
listeners the stories of his journey of the last 12 years in an organic and
intimate way and to share with them how his melodies and songs were written
before being produced for the numerous collaborations & concerts around the
globe.
Idan Raichel was honored recently by the Martin Luther
King Institute for bringing the voices of the minorities and new immigrants to
the mainstream and for his work bringing people from different backgrounds,
beliefs and cultures together through music.
