SensErotic: Decomposing the Down

Winter is here.

Every season, every cycle, every transition, every year what is no longer true, dies

Like flowers withering after its blossom, leaves falling from a tree so that the tree can survive in winter and grow new leaves in the spring, a caterpillar shrinking, shredding and dissolving within its cocoon eventually emerging as a butterfly, full of color and vibrancy.

We too as human beings constantly transform, change shape, release what no longer serves to make space for our new form.

Together, we find the nourishment in the mystery of the unknown by unraveling and exploring the depths of the down, the dark, the gritty, the tender, the grief, the despair, the disgust, the unloveable bits, the emptiness, the liminal space in between thoughts.

Come explore what it feels like to go into the dark abyss of your deepest dungeons. Perhaps you may discover your dauntless dragon, your wolf howl, your snail crawl, or a shrill manical laughter come about. Observe where you feel and hold these sensations in your body and learn how to embrace the full range of emotion with full blown permission to let it all out.

Explore what it takes to break down the masks, break down the illusions, the armor of separation and unfold into a wider acceptance of our instinctual embodied truth.

Play with your creative ability to dig into the felt sense of decomposing and the natural phase of dying and experience the expansive rebirthing that comes after.

Ask yourself: What are you ready to let go of and release? How can you feel present with the down without dissociating or fearing it? What is your natural sound and your natural embodied movement as you sink and allow yourself to wither and change form without judgement or control?

Curious?
Come play!
