Join us for a intimate afternoon of Womb Medicine and
transmissions as we Reclaim and awaken the Life Force, Medicine and Wisdom that
lie dormant within you ready to be activated. We will create a Women's Circle
and safe space for you to release, share and heal from old stories; experiences
and trauma stored in your womb temple space. You will receive potent Womb Rites
from the Nusta Lineage of Peru. This will be an interactive gathering where
each woman will have the space and opportunity to be seen, witness and honor in
her own unique expression. You will also learn practical ways to cultivate a
healthy relationship with your Moon Cycle.
What to expect & what to bring:
When approach with a solid intention, we can receive
potent clearing and healing and release taboo ideas about our Wombs! You will
feel lighter and replenished after participating in this intimate offering
designed for women to reclaim their embodiment.
Please bring flowers, pictures of women in your family
who may benefit from the sacred work we are going to co-create and small
offerings such as stones, chocolate or candies.
Facilitators:
Marilu Shinn holds a private practice as Shamanic
Practitioner since 2012 & has been a Hatha Yoga teacher since 2005. Her
formal training includes the Four Winds Society & the Mount Madonna
Institute of Yoga as well as an ongoing apprenticeship with the Nusta Medicine
Women of Peru. Her own healing journey brought her to embodied the Ancient
Wisdom Traditions of Peru & to share the Medicine & Beauty of this
Lineage as a path towards Empowerment & Embodiment. Her mission &
passion are to reconnect Women with their Authentic Selves; to awaken their
somatic awareness through Yoga & Shamanic Practices & to reconnect them
with their innate Sacred Wisdom as the foundations for leading fulfilling,
whole lives. Marilu holds Women Empowerment Circles & Earth Based Ceremony
in the Santa Cruz mountains. She works with men & women.
Brenda Cuevas's love and respect for nature has inspired
her to embark on a sacred journey. Making it her life purpose to honor all
life, to pray for the waters, the earth, the air, fire and spirit. She shares
her ancestors sacred traditions when needed to help bring balance between the
mind and heart.
She gently guides ceremony’s with medicine songs from her
lineage around a sacred fire, praying for our relationship with water, earth,
fire, wind and spirit. Allowing each individual to explore their thoughts and
emotions while bringing awareness to the body.
For the past 4 years Brenda has collaborated alongside
wisdom keepers and elders from
various nations, facilitating gatherings and ceremony
such as water blessings, fire ceremony’s and contributed to the teachings of
the medicine wheel, moon lodges and sweat lodges.
Brenda has learned to embrace her femininity while
dancing, singing, praying and healing under the full moon with woman from
around the world that gather in her family’s ancestral land of Mexico. She
embodies the wisdom she has learned throughout the years by facilitating
woman’s circles and sharing her knowledge of working with the rhythms of the
moon and the elements. Brenda also has over 10 years of experience working in a
correctional facility, empowering woman to live a healthy and sober life.
