Healing Biotopes Vision and the Space between Stories

October 29 – 30, 2017 (Friday – Saturday)

Berkeley, CA

2017 Healing Biotopes are experimental research centers that model a new culture where many worlds come together. They establish a social, ecological and economic framework allowing life’s self-healing powers to unfold and have a chance to truly shape human culture.

A Healing Biotopes aims to be a model which offers a new possibility for global healing.

This gathering will introduce the vision and work of the Healing Biotope as it has been emerging over the past 30 years in Tamera, Portugal, one of the world's most radical experiments in the healing of love. The founding intention was to model system change in all areas of life.

Among other things the eros alive there and the transparency and truth within the community has catalyzed healing relations with the land, with the people and with all species. Tamera is not a community for community’s sake alone; it carries and lives practices of global relevance. It engages in outreach to other communities, some in crisis areas, and has supported and contributed to a more Global understanding, vision, and work.

Our time together will be more than informational. It will offer an experience of the "field" of the Healing Biotope, the worldview and practices that animate it. Come and join us in community in an old and new way of using this word. Explore what love without fear may truly look and feel like and how it might contribute to creating the world we want to live in.
