Earthdance brings people together in a single moment of
focused intention. Our festival, Earthdance South Bay is an ecstatic dance
event at the naturist resort, Lupin Lodge. This day of workshops, lectures,
classes, a prayer for peace ceremony, and evening of ecstatic dance, is
synchronized with the United Nations’ International Day of Peace, benefiting
The 418 Project, in Santa Cruz!
It will be an Ecstatic Dance style of music experience in
a slow, medium, fast and wind down pattern with a Closing Circle/Sound
Healing. The weekend’s workshops,
classes and lectures are all focused on the healing powers of touch, dance, and
sound. Geared toward south bay ecstatic dance enthusiasts, the weekend is
intended to bring dancers together to share their stories about how dance has
transformed their life, but most importantly, to share in the vulnerability,
joy, and cathartic emotional release dance provides.
Among the offered activities, you will be able to attend
famous Dolphin Dance (Florence Lesur) and Cuddle Party (Sean Simic).
The event ticket grants you access to all lectures, workshops,
and classes. It also includes the Lupin Lodge day fee (x2), overnight fee, and
tent site fee. You are also invited to join the prayer for peace ceremony and
the ecstatic dance evening celebration.
