Zorg's “Digital Sound Journeys” bring together one of the
oldest instruments, the didjeridoo, with modern digital technology that enables
us to hear the instrument almost as if we were inside it! Participants
completely relax and are immersed in the deep sounds of the didjeridoo, which
transforms breath into music. In the words of Berthold Auerbach, “Music washes
away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
Zorg has a lifelong passion for the spiritual power of
music. He trained as a teacher of TaKeTiNa with Reinhard Flatischler, and has
studied several traditions in depth including Cuban Bata drumming and jazz. His
journeying with the didjeridoo began 10 years ago, initially as a solo
practice, then including “traditional” group and individual sound healings. He
is currently pursuing his love of creating huge sonic spaces for meditation.
Please bring mats, pillows, blankets etc or whatever you
need to be comfortable lying down.
