Northern California’s hottest event of the summer
features a lineup of international stars, emerging artists and regional
favorites playing jazz, blues, salsa, Latin and R&B. It’s more than the
biggest live music event in Silicon Valley—it’s the perfect summer experience
with tasty food, wine and microbrews; family fun; and an after-hours club
crawl.
This year’s headliners include Chris Botti, George
Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Angelique Kidjo with Pedrito Martinez,
Robert Glasper Experiment, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Maceo Parker and dozens more.
Summer Fest presents the largest celebration of Latin jazz and salsa found on
the West Coast including Daymé Arocena, Oscar Hernández and Alma Libre, Pacific
Mambo Orchestra and Jimmy Bosch. The Blues/Big Easy stage brings it home with
Samantha Fish and Big Sandy and his Fly Rite Boys. Our Jazz Beyond programming,
which explores where jazz is going, features The Seshen and Robert Glasper
Experiment.
