A Touch of Wild: Contact Improv in Nature

Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 1 PM – 6 PM

Wilder Ranch State Park
Santa Cruz, California

Contact Improvisation is one of my favorite ways to engage Nature. Using the principles and perspectives of CI, we can achieve greater intimacy, appreciation, and understanding of our place in the natural world. Plus have a ton of fun with friends both new and old!

We will embark on a grand adventure together for the afternoon. Exploring Upper and Lower Wilder Ranch, I'll lead a short investigation of each environment plus offer tips and techniques for engagement. Then movers will be free to explore and play together inspired by the elemental forces of water, air, earth, and fire!

We start the day in a secluded cove with a sandy beach and exotic fern grotto. We then head for the upper portion of the Wilder to explore the support and shelter of centuries-old oak tress and other delights of the hills and forests there. Our day concludes with some time for sharing and reflection on the highlights of our explorations.

Meet at 418 Front St. at 12:45 PM and we will form small carpools to travel together from there. Call 831-239-0321 if you need details or more clarification.

What to bring:
--Swim clothes and a towel (sorry this is NOT clothing optional)
--Socks or barefeet in the sand, footwear for water/rocks in river.
--Dress in layers, we'lll be in the water only a portion of the time
--Snacks and something to drink
--Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, etc.
--Your curiosity, willingness, and sense of adventure!

All levels of experience are welcome.

Cost: $40 - $45

Extended Full Body Orgasm ~ Live Demonstration

Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Erwan Davon Teachings
2501 HARRISON ST
#15
San Francisco, CA

What most of us associate with orgasm is seconds of deep pleasure, release and the post- release relaxation and joy. Even in multiple orgasms the way most people experience them, it is mostly about getting aroused and 'reaching' orgasm again and again in irregular intervals.

With Extended Full Body Orgasm, we use a whole different paradigm. The whole experience is an ongoing state of orgasm. It is a moving away from trying to 'get there' in order to have a pleasurable ecstatic release ...and move towards an already existing state of pleasure in the body, and letting go into that at deeper and deeper levels.

The demonstration will include exposure of a woman's genitals, so you can see the techniques as they are being explained and practiced. Many of the principles and techniques to pleasure a man there are the same or at least comparable. The differences will be addressed and explained (there will be no demonstration of male full body extended orgasm)

By purchasing your ticket, you are agreeing that you are comfortable with that kind of experiential life demonstration taking place.

There will be no nudity or sexual touch between participants

Singles and Couples are welcome.

Cost: $30 - $40

Tango in the Square: Quinta Tango: Free Admission

Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 2 PM – 4 PM

Union Square Live
333 Post St,
San Francisco, California

Sun Aug 4: 2-4 -- Tango in the Square: Quinta Tango - Dj, Dance Lesson with Bay Area Argentine Tango Association

Traditionally mostly men played tango music but since we live in San Francisco, we do it the unconventional way, women only!

Quinta tango orchestra was born out of our love for tango music and dancing. We play the "Golden Age" tangos, milongas and valses from the 1930-s through 1950s, as well as "tango nuevo" pieces especially arranged for our group.

Since our inception we have performed for dancers and music lovers all over the San Francisco Bay Area at special events, private parties and at local milongas - social tango dance gatherings.
