Discover a whole new way of interacting with others
through dance by exploring polarities and expressing unacknowledged aspects of
your personality. You will choose both a mission/role (e.g. trickster,
matchmaker, witness) and a restriction (e.g. blindfolded, near the ground,
dance with people across the room) randomly out of a hat. You will be guided
via music and movement as you take on your "Mission Restriction" and
have the opportunity to switch roles as the dance progresses. Come play with
Gabriel and Candice—known for their popular Blindfolded Contact classes—as they
lead this experimental dance adventure!
We will open with a short circle addressing our code of
conduct, boundaries, and safety. The dance will be a non-verbal space. Please
arrive between 2:45-3pm. This is closed container. Late arrivals will not be
admitted and will not receive a refund.
We have a high expectation of personal responsibility and
respect regarding consent and boundaries.
