Conscious Communication Practice Circle

Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 7 PM - 9 PM

714 Blackfoot Ct,
San Jose, CA

Let's gather together in an open-hearted, high vibrational community to practice Nonviolent Communication (NVC), developed by Marshall Rosenberg. No experience is necessary but some familiarity with NVC will be helpful to participate. Reading Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life by Marshall Rosenberg is highly recommended.

We create a safe container for sharing authentically from the heart in honest self-expression, to be heard, to be known...we listen to each other in empathy AND we learn the skills for authentic, fulfilling connection.

NVC can help you to identify needs and feelings (yours and those of others), to move beyond "right" and "wrong", eliminate coercive and manipulative language, reduce triggers, minimize conflict, and create harmony and peace.

This group will meet on the first and third Thursday of every month. We recommend regular participation to support learning, trust and connection.

Timeless Loving: An Introduction to SkyDancing Tantra

October 6-8, 2017 (Friday – Sunday)

Four Springs Retreat Center
Middletown, CA

In Timeless Loving, we explore concepts of Margot Anand's SkyDancing Tantra that can be easily integrated into your lovemaking and daily life. Expand your perspective of spirituality, sexuality, love and intimacy to give your love life a whole new dimension. Discover that Tantra is so much more than “just sex”!

It's a gift to feel our body and our senses in each moment. We can quieten our mind with the bliss of pleasure, and merge our spirit into timelessness. This opens the door to true intimacy within ourselves, our beloved and those close to us, and we discover our orgasmic potential in the valleys and on the peaks, leaving conventional sexual goals behind.

Timeless Loving (the precursor to Tantric Intimacy: SkyDancing into Bliss) emerged from Steve & Lokita Carter's many years of Tantric exploration, practice, learning and teaching. This seminar is a reflection of their personal approach, understanding and experience of Tantra, sexuality and spirituality, and the inspiration they received from their study and practice of SkyDancing Tantra, as well as the thousands of seminar participants they taught over the years.

Timeless Loving seminars are open to couples and singles. You don’t have to be in a relationship to learn about Tantra! Read about the benefits for both couples and individuals here. You might even find a Tantric partner in one of our seminars for the purpose of taking the more advanced (Tantric Intimacy and Love & Ecstasy Training) seminars together.

·         Do you wonder how to take sex to a higher level?
·         Would you like to improve your lovemaking?
·         Is self-acceptance an issue for you?
·         Do you wish there was more love in your life?
·         Are you ready to integrate Tantra into your lifestyle?
·         Could your communication skills be improved?
·         Could there be more romance in your relationship?
·         Would you like to be an even better lover?

You have probably answered yes to most of the questions, and if so, then this seminar is for you. By opening your heart and energy channels you discover new ways to enjoy unconditional love and connection in a safe and loving environment. We explore:
·         the weaving of spirituality, love and intimacy
·         unveiling the God & Goddess within us all
·         enhancing intimate communication skills
·         Tantric Rituals
·         the gentle power of sacred space
·         moving sexual energy to the heart

From the Timeless Loving seminar, you'll take home with you ways to access your source of ecstatic energy, and share it in a conscious way in your intimate relationships and your everyday life.
This popular seminar is a fun and safe way to begin your Tantric journey. While we consider Tantra to be a continuing and spiritual practice, you'll learn many things that can be put to play immediately after the seminar, then again and again.

Archetypal Cannabis Breathwork Journey

Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 3 PM - 7 PM

The Center SF
548 Fillmore St,
San Francisco, CA

In this experience, we will be combining breath work with an archetypal story experience to transport us into various aspects of our consciousness for the purpose of bringing breath into every possible facet of our bodies.

The 26 Threads system of archetypes bridges Jungian depth psychology with Chinese energetics into a comprehensive system of awareness.

Each archetype has a specific resonance signature and by targeting these individually we are able to move the development of each one further along toward the next natural stage in evolution for a more smoothly flowing spectrum of consciousness

By incorporating story and music to correspond with each archetype we are able to elicit a much more visceral response to the embodiment of these specific frequencies.

Sound healer Jamie Lu will incorporate Light Language transmissions and harmonics designed for deep awakening.

As an optional component, cannabis can help us to go on an even deeper psychedelic journey or remembering. The goddess of cannabis assists us in feeling and surrendering to what would otherwise be numbness and apathy. This is recommended only for confident psyche explorers.

The Expandabis method will be integrated into this process, which involves intentional laughter - thereby filling the darkness with light. Useful for an instant profound effect on the state of the body.

Altogether, this will be a compelling and transformative inward journey never to be forgotten (unless perhaps you consume too much THC!)

Cost: $30

Fearless Heart: The Practice of Courageously Loving and Caring for Yourself

Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM PDT

Fort Mason Center
2 Marina Blvd
Building C- Room 205
San Francisco, CA

Stress, burnout, overwhelm, anxiety, confusion, ..... all feelings that are a normal part of riding the waves of life. Yet what would it feel like if you could alleviate or prevent these feelings from dominating your life? How would you choose to feel instead?

Our society views the act of generous self-love and self-care as selfish, when in actuality this is one of the most courageous acts we can take. When we care deeply for our own soul, mind, body and spirit, we are grounded to more freely open our hearts and spread love to others in our lives. Play, connection, and movement all impact and play a vital part in how we care for ourselves. You can generate more positive desired feelings through an intentional practice of courageously loving yourself.

Come explore how to deepen your self-care practices, by incorporating your individualized needs into your daily life, through reflective journaling, brainstorming, creative visualization, and sharing of tips and strategies within a conscious supportive community.

What you can expect:
* a chance to reflect on what self-care and self-love means to you personally
* evaluate which areas of your self-care and well-being routine need attention
* shift perspective and gain tips and strategies for your self-care routine
* begin to map out and develop steps towards a (new) loving, manageable and sustainable self-care plan for you.

• Self-leadership and leadership training
• A fun way to connect with like-minded others
• A chance to explore your interpersonal edges and grow
• Interpersonal meditation: a collective spiritual practice
Our only agreements, and the values we strive for:
1. Practice Self-Leadership
2. Return To Connection
3. Consider Group Health

LOGISTICS
You must be 21 or over to attend all Connection Games events.
Doors open 15 minutes prior to the event. Hearty, nutritious snacks will be available at that time. In order to support a sacred container, doors will close by 10 minutes after the start time and will not reopen for late participants. There will be a lunch break incorporated into the schedule of the day.

WHAT HAPPENS
This event is dynamically steered. Unlike other similar events like circling, T-Group, authentic relating, the facilitator doesn't know the program ahead of time.
This means that YOU have a choice to impact the agenda!
We tend to start with the basics (Council, T-Group) and go from there. Sometimes people are chomping at the bit to take more risks, and we do. Other times the mood is sweet and connected, and we do more basic, safe, connecting practices. Sometimes a random idea arises out of attunement with the group (sometimes suggested by a participant) and we do that.

HAIKUS FOR EACH CORE CONNECTION GAME
COUNCIL
Take turns, three guidelines
Speak and listen from the heart.
Honor the silence.

CIRCLE OF CHIEFS
Space is simply held
Through surrendered leadership
Learn to honor self

T-GROUP
Practice presence. Share
Your feelings in this moment.
Give, receive impact.

PHYSICAL PLAY

Whatever your body wants,
Nourish your full self.

Healing Biotopes Vision and the Space between Stories

October 29 – 30, 2017 (Friday – Saturday)

Berkeley, CA

2017 Healing Biotopes are experimental research centers that model a new culture where many worlds come together. They establish a social, ecological and economic framework allowing life’s self-healing powers to unfold and have a chance to truly shape human culture.

A Healing Biotopes aims to be a model which offers a new possibility for global healing.

This gathering will introduce the vision and work of the Healing Biotope as it has been emerging over the past 30 years in Tamera, Portugal, one of the world's most radical experiments in the healing of love. The founding intention was to model system change in all areas of life.

Among other things the eros alive there and the transparency and truth within the community has catalyzed healing relations with the land, with the people and with all species. Tamera is not a community for community’s sake alone; it carries and lives practices of global relevance. It engages in outreach to other communities, some in crisis areas, and has supported and contributed to a more Global understanding, vision, and work.

Our time together will be more than informational. It will offer an experience of the "field" of the Healing Biotope, the worldview and practices that animate it. Come and join us in community in an old and new way of using this word. Explore what love without fear may truly look and feel like and how it might contribute to creating the world we want to live in.

Most of us long for deeper, more intimate connection in our friendships and romantic relationships. Yet we don't always know how to create it, and many times we unconsciously put barriers in our own way. By learning what we are really looking for in relationships and what obstacles we put in the way, love and connection can flow more naturally.

This workshop is designed for both individuals and couples who would like to bring more depth to their intimate relationship. Gal utilizes practical and transformative information from the scientifically researched field of attachment. Attachment has been called the science of love and provides a critical map for understanding love and relationships. Learn how to use mindfulness and the wisdom of the body-mind connection to discover your own patterns, as well as gain a view of the impression you might be giving others.
