PERFORMANCES
This year’s stage performances co-hosted by the fabulous
Mama Dora (Dora M Ama) and SirJoQ will delight you with acts by:
* Jocquese Whitfield (SirJoQ), legendary SF vogue
dancer/choreographer/MC/instructor - highlighted on MTV’s hit show ‘The Real
World’ - his career is steeped in freestyle hip-hop improvisation as well as modern,
classical and Diasporic dance traditions.
* Special guest from Chicago, drag and burlesque star
Otter Chaös - the beyond binary, bearded ballerina that lives somewhere between
king and queen, horror and cosplay, classical elegance and raw sexuality.
* A triage of cosmic talent from the beloved Liam Ocean,
Vertel Jackson and Llano River Blue, giving you all sorts of neon wheel
grandness and circus love.
GRAND FINALE
The evening's finale will be a spectacular GayGlo Guerrilla
Theater blacklight performance called “Journey to Earth” from the windows above
the party, led by original organizers Chickpea (Brian Busta), Jason Smart, Alex
Robinson and DJ TomCat, plus supporting staff – you don’t want to miss it!
For nearly two decades, GayGlo Guerrilla Theater was an
infamous hallmark of the Castro’s radical queer culture, shutting down streets
and delighting thousands of spectators with its amazing blacklite performances
and saucy commentary.
We’re excited to be able to honor this Castro legend and
offer you a beautiful, fun-packed night of revelry and community!
Cost: $10
