This is a free City of Santa Clara event, sponsored by
the Cultural Commission. We invite you to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket
to sit on as you enjoy the music. There will be shaved ice and other food
available for purchase.
Orquesta Latin Heat - an exhilarating musical experience
- Featuring a swinging horn section, fiery rhythms and authentic Latin percussion
and vocals - performing Sizzling Salsa, Merengue, Latin Jazz, Cumbia and
more. Based in San Jose, Latin Heat was
formed in 2012 by a group of like-minded Salsa musicians looking to share their
love of this music through an authentic, professional and dynamic salsa and
Latin orchestra.
The public response has been phenomenal, and Latin Heat
has performed at premier venues and Festivals in the greater Bay Area, building
its fan base with high quality and energetic performances. This will be Latin
Heat's fifth appearance at the summer concert series, and it promises to be
another fun time with dancing and great music at this great venue!
