A rarity among bands in the Bay Area, Vintage Noise is
colorfully-inspired by the timeless jazz and bossa nova standards of the 1920s
to 1960s. The four-piece combo has become synonymous with lush vocals and
gentle strings, blending timeless jazz and exotic sounds of bossa nova. While
Vintage Noise is largely known for their emotive renditions of both classic
Brazilian songs and jazz standards, they often surprise listeners with
violin-inflected selections of gypsy jazz, tango, and even country pop. Their
performance creates a rare atmosphere sure to have an intensely personal
meaning for every listener.

"Just got a chance to listen to your CD, and am
loving it!"
- Yoshi's San Francisco, CA
"Well, if there's a time for crooning to make a
resurgence, it's probably now-it's totally vintage. Latter-day crooner Michael
Carter sings in the style of Sinatra. Carter is backed by some great local
talent"
- Metro Newspaper
“Vintage Noise is a dynamic ensemble of talented
musicians from the San Francisco Bay Area."
