On Sunday, October 7th from 12pm-3pm, Rhythmix Cultural
Works, Alameda’s destination for the arts, presents its third annual ‘Round the
World Festival. This family-friendly festival features performances by Bay Area
favorites including Duniya Dance and Drum Company, Ka-Hon Latin Percussion
Ensemble, Chhandam School of Kathak, Ballet Afsaneh, Capoeira Mandinga Alameda
and Maze Daiko.
Fostering greater participation and inclusion in the
arts, ‘Round the World spotlights artists of diverse heritages, featuring
several global musical styles along with hands-on art activities for the whole
family.
Global chocolate tastings, food and world craft vendors
will be on site.
Reservations are free, or, pay what you wish to help
support arts programming in Alameda. All ages welcome!
