Czinka Panna is a violin-accordion duo from The
Netherlands, with a large repertoire of mostly eastern European music,
including Hungarian, Romanian, Russian and Romani ("Gypsy") melodies,
but also Klezmer, Italian, some French and romantic film music. For this show,
they will be joined on guitar and cimbalom by their son.
The ensemble is named after the legendary 18th century
female Hungarian-Romani violinist and (in modern parlance) badass woman Czinka
Panna, who lived near Budapest (Hungary) and would entertain for the local
nobility with her family band.
There is no cover charge, but seats are limited. Come
