Animate Dance Festival is a celebration of dance in all
its forms. Taking place in the ex-military base on Alameda Point, Animate
invites people of all ages and backgrounds to discover the wealth of dance
artistry on offer in the Bay Area.
It is bringing together a range of performances by
professional dance companies as well as shows by youth groups, free trial
classes, a dance fair, children’s play area and food and beverage trucks.
