What is it? A weekend for women to come together for
earth rituals, connection to nature, reclaiming a healthier relationship with
themselves, with nature, with technology. We will council to address ecological
issues in a creative way empowering one another to share our wisdom.
Main Objectives:
Encouraging a self-inquiry for how we relate to modern
day society in relation to technology and poses a question for how we can live
more in harmony with nature. Imprinting women with a sense of self-empowerment
around the choices they make supporting a better world. ETC. Supporting a
healthy digital detox from cell phones, cars, electronics and creating a
conversation, journal entries and even art work that inquire how we can be in
right relationship with these forces/objects.
Yoga-Dance-Earth Ritual Together we will creatively
explore how we can integrate our ecological concerns and love for the mother
earth in a daily practice. Derived from spiritual teacher Thich Nhat Hanh’s
poetry and writing “Love letter to the Earth”. Through dance, yoga and earth
based ritual we aim to strengthen mindfulness as well as ecological activism
through slowing down, listening to nature and bonding in sisterhood.
