Join us for a day to explore compassionate communication
with family members, friends, co-workers, community members---and with
yourself.
In the morning, we will demonstrate Compassionate
Communication with Conflict Improv, where the teachers act out suggestions from
the audience. Then we will have workshops on topics such as:
* The Basics of NVC
* Translating Inner and Outer Critics
* Compassionate Communication and Dating
* Communication at Work: Working with Difficult
Clients and Customers
* Parents: Making Requests and Setting Limits
* Relationship as Path for Self-Discovery
* NVC for Men -- and the Women Who Want to
Understand Them
* NVC for Helping Professionals
Schedule:
9:30: Meet and Greet; Registration, Snacks, and Coffee/Tea
10:00: Opening Circle with Games and Conflict Improv
11:15-12:30 Workshop #1 (choice of 3 workshops)
12:30 – 1:30: Lunch, Please bring your own or we can tell
you about local restaurants
1:45-3:00: Workshop #2 (choice of 3 workshops)
3:15-4:30: Workshop #3 (choice of 3 workshops)
4:30-5:00: Closing
