From the milongas of Buenos Aires to a rare concert setting at the Red Poppy, Tango BC Quartet plays contemporary and original arrangements of classic tangos. Joining the group for the night is bassist Hector Pineda, well known for his work with the stage show Forever Tango.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Based in Buenos Aires, Tango BC is a group of professional tango musicians led by pianist Mariano Barreiro and guitarist Santiago Cursach. The band has released two full-length albums and was awarded a grant by the INAMU (National Institute of Music) in Argentina for the second album, BC Tango Milonguero. They are also winners of the Notable Bars Contest organized by the Ministry of Culture of Buenos Aires. Tango BC has toured in the United States and Europe and has been selected for the second consecutive year to be featured in the World Championship and Tango Festival in San Francisco, as well as for the Red Carpet Tango Festival in Las Vegas.
