Come join us in this evening of presence and play, using
meditation and comedy improvisation to access our potential, embody the way we
want to show up in the world, and release anything that keeps us from
expressing our truth and fullness of who we are.
Comedy Improvisation is great for:
* Awakening your creative potential and expression
* Expanding and sharpening your mind
* Feeling alive, invigorated, and inspired
* Learning how to deeply listen, be fully present and
aware of yourself and others, in the body, in action
* Rekindling our childlike spirit of play, fun, joy,
freedom and imagination
* Releasing inhibition around self-expression, and
letting go of the inner critic
* Increasing confidence and finding your unique voice
* Working together as a team, learning about acceptance
and trust, learning how to relate authentically and skillfully, and how to
co-create with others
Improv is transformative on its own, and when combined
with meditation and intention setting in a safe, welcoming space, we can access
deep realms of the subconscious for powerful healing to take place. We can
release old beliefs, patterns, wounds, and trauma that are holding us back and
keeping us stuck. We can let all this go through joy and ease, with laughter
and creativity, in supportive community.
We want to use our mind in clear, efficient, and creative
ways, instead of being weighed down by our thoughts, believing they control and
define us. With meditation and improv, we come back to our center, remember our
power, and learn to use the mind as a fantastic tool in creating boundlessly
and joyfully. We also practice using our intuitive compass and allowing
creativity to move through us more freely.
