Ring out the Old and Ring in the New with Meditation,
Games, Live Music, Refreshments, Words of Wisdom, "Letting Go Of The
Old" contemplative Fire Ceremony.
In the beginning part, meditation and reflection is
interspersed with games, dance and live music. The later part is more
contemplative with wisdom words, fire ceremony and midnight meditation.
The Fire Ceremony is led by guided meditation and
comprises of writing on a small paper that which we do not wish to carry
forward in our life next year. In silence, we put that in the fire and watch it
burn. Experience a deeply transformational and liberating effect for a fresh
start.
Prior
meditation experience not necessary. Alcohol-free celebration. Kind request to
remove footwear before entering event hall.
