The ancient springtime Hindu festival of color and
throwing stuff at people comes to San Francisco when Asha, an Indian non-profit
agency, brings Holi to the SoMissPo (that little pocket in between SoMa, the
Mission and Potrero Hill).
Typically each year there’s a DJ and dancing as you throw
water and non-toxic, water soluble, chalk colors at your friends, family, and
strangers.
You will arrive looking like your beautiful self, and
you’ll leave looking like your beautiful self just left a rainbow factory
explosion.
