Let's spend a Sunday afternoon with acupuncture and sound
healing together in community!

session presented by Ground in Sound:
ACUPUNCTURE AND SOUND HEALING
The combination of acupuncture and sound healing
amplifies the therapeutic affect of both therapies. The acupuncture needles act
as an antenna, receiving and enhancing the healing sound vibrations produced by
the vibrational instruments - Planetary gong, Tibetan singing bowls, tuning
forks and more. The needles absorb the vibrations deeper into the tissues of
the body, creating a ripple of healing energy from the inside out. We will
experience an inner balance, calmness, and a sense of deep relaxation that will
enable us to journey within, center, and reconnect.
We will start with vocal meditation to tune our bodies.
Our voice, the most potent healing instrument, will open our hearts and prepare
us to receive acupunture and the vibration of instruments. Once on the mat, we
will begin the acupuncture session with meditative and restorative sound
journey.
Please bring whatever will make you comfortable while
lying down (or sitting). We recommend a yoga mat, pillow, eye mask, blanket,
and water bottle. Wear comfortable, loose clothes, in layers.
Doors open at 4pm so please arrive early to set up your
spot. We start at 4:30pm. No late entries.
