An evening featuring an exciting collaboration between the Bay Area’s leading groups in flamenco, Gypsy jazz, and progressive flamenco fusion.

An idea created by Emmy Award-winning director/choreographer Yaelisa, well known here as the founder/director of Caminos Flamencos, this program brings together the leaders of three distinct yet related genres in music and dance. This performance was presented to a completely STANDING ROOM SOLD OUT AUDIENCE in 2016 and returns for another exciting presentation on June 10 at 8pm at Ashkenaz.

Barrio Manouche is an acoustic San Francisco-based international septet, playing music that will take you on a magical journey. The band performs a repertoire of acoustic original compositions with a unique sound that is difficult to classify deeply influence by a range of music traditions.

TERCETO KALI plays the original music of guitarist Jason McGuire “El Rubio,” a confeccion of hard-driving flamenco, jazz, Latin and all the musical experience of its three members which includes Marlon Aldana on drumset and Adam Lowdermilk on upright bass.

CAMINOS FLAMENCOS is an Emmy Award-winning troupe whose director/choreographer Yaelisa brings her considerable skills as a leader in the world of flamenco and a lifetime of passion for this unique art form.
