The spiritual community of Ananda Marga (Path of Bliss)
invites you to join us for another evening of music, laughter, storytelling,
and spiritual company.
7:00 Arrive and enjoy some fun introductory games.
7:30 Open Mic. This can be a song, a story, a dance, a
juggling act - pretty much anything legal, safe and in good taste (note: this
is a family friendly, spiritual event). So if you have something inspirational
to share, please let us know and we'll add you to the list.
8:30: Featured Performer of the month: Sucharit Katyal.
Sucharit is a student Hindustani vocal music under the
tutelage of Ustad Ghulam Farid Nizami, a 17th generation descendant of the
great doyen of Indian classical music, Miyan Tansen. Sucharit sings and plays
harmonium covering a range of devotional music from the Bhakti and Sufi
traditions of the Indian subcontinent in over six languages.
9:30 Light refreshments and socializing.
