dPaJo is an ensemble that focuses on their mutual love

musical forms that speak to them. February's performance will focus on their
fascination with the Django/ Grappelli repertoire and their influences taking
you down the gypsy manouche rabbit hole. Collectively, members have performed
on 4 continents, in 45 different States and over a dozen countries.
Performances have ranged from clubs and house concerts, to notable venues and
festivals such as Yoshis, Undercover Presents, the Eastern Music Festival,
Strawberry Music Festival, Davies Symphony Hall, and Carnegie Hall to name a
few. A Notably, dPaJo was invited to perform on the San Francisco Symphony’s
Holiday concerts as guest artists for the 2018-2019 season making it their
debut at Davies Symphony Hall.
Hailing from Norway, guitarist Patrick Anseth performs
throughout the Bay Area and is known for his ability to shift between musical
styles and create beautiful textures, making him the perfect musician for
dPaJo. His recent debut album we need to talk

out show at Yoshis this past fall. When not working with dPaJo, he regularly
performs with Josh Jones, Paul a Eastman, Lucky Devils Band, Tarak Ragab to
name a few. An active music educator, he is the director of jazz guitar at Oakland
