Ability to really hear each other with deep presence as
well as attention to what feelings and needs might be being communicated brings
people so much closer and builds trust. Empathy is a beautiful way to enhance
this deep listening by following the energy that wants to be expressed with
words that name feelings and needs. This process originates in the body with
which we listen. And when we get in touch with what the other is communicating,
we use words, empathy guesses and deeper inquiry to help them be heard and
gotten.
This workshop will be held in a sacred container I
cherish in all my work. We will use movement, breath and sound to drop into our
bodies. And when we are fully home, we'll play with expressing ourselves from
the heart as the group and individual partners offer full attention and
empathy.
