Agnews
Historic Park is a 14.5-acre Historic Easement located on the Oracle Santa
Clara campus, on property which was the site of the Agnews State Hospital. Four
historic buildings within the park are preserved as part of the historic
easement. The site was acquired by Sun Microsystems around 1997 as a corporate
and R&D center, and became part of Oracle in 2010.
Numerous
trees are in the area, with parking and restrooms available. It's not a big
park, so when you enter on Palm Drive, from Lafayette Street, you should be
able to find us.
Bring
your chair or something to sit on. If the weather is bad on this day, the event
will be cancelled.
The
first half hour or so will be an informal NO-POTLUCK picnic. After that,
drumming until the end.
