Have you ever experienced some kind of feeling that you
should go out and volunteer? Yea, the one that made you create a New Year’s
Resolution to volunteer and then you never did cause you’re a lazy bum and that
Netflix marathon sounded easier and more fun. Well now SF Games and Scavenger
Hunts is giving you an easy and fun way to do some social good in this
community. It is called the Random Acts of Kindness Race and basically, is an
afternoon where you run around solving puzzles, doing social good challenges
and getting involved in your community. Think of it, as it is an Amazing Race
crossed with social good.
Each team will affect over 50 people, making sandwiches
for the homeless, doing a park cleanup, wrapping presents to give to random
strangers and more! First team to solve all puzzles, complete all volunteer
tasks and check in wins a trophy and free tickets to a future SF Games and
Scavenger Hunts Event.
Teams of 4-8 will solve clues to secret locations to
perform volunteer tasks and random acts of kindness in honor of National
Volunteer Week. Come with a team already, or come make some new friends. Grab
some free Coconut water from our sponsor VitaCoco, and have a ton of fun, while
doing a lot of social good in our community.
Come to the steps at 19th St and Dolores St in Dolores
Park and look for the girl with the tophat and trophy to get your starting
packet and clues.
Cost: $50
