Social norms, cultural and religious trends and consumer
marketing have, in many cases, caused many of us to see our bodies as something
with which we are constantly at odds. Many of us treat our bodies like they are
wild beasts that we must tame to our will, feeling afraid, frustrated and/or
betrayed in some way; missing that our bodies are the very vessels that inform
us, in the most honest way possible, about the world around us and hold
information about our truest needs and desires.
We invite you to join us for this 4 hour Sex as
Meditation workshop where we will envision our bodies as our allies, creating a
stronger relationship with ourselves, integrating mind, emotions, body and
soul. We will bring mindful awareness to our current beliefs about our bodies
and examine how they impact our self expression, our relationships and our
sexuality. This process will open a more
loving and compassionate journey with our bodies that will allow us to be more
in touch with our hearts' desires.
This workshop does not include any nudity or explicit
sexuality. All genders and sexual orientations welcome.
Cost: $135
