Crystal Sound Meditation

Downtown Yoga Shala
450 S. First Street
San Jose, CA 95113
Sound Healing is the intentional use of sound to create an
environment, which becomes a space for healing of the physical, mental,
emotional and energetic bodies. To become “healed,” simply means to become
“whole”. By coupling our intention with sound we are able to elevate our
vibration to restore harmony within our BEing. By surrendering to the highest
good, we ourselves become that conduit for peace, healing, change and growth.
As you meditate and lie still or sit on your mat, we will
work with the sounds and intention to help the body heal on a cellular level.
During a session, each person is receiving perfect frequencies through the
playing of crystal instruments re-harmonizing the body back to its natural
tones.

came to be? Or how our modern, studio-based yoga practice evolved from the
ancient traditions and texts of the past 2000+ years?
During this illuminating day of inquiry, we will examine the
history of yoga and its multitudinous roots by looking at pivotal texts (like
the Bhagavad Gita, Upansihads, Yoga Sutras, and Hatha Yoga Pradipika). We will
also discuss the many forms yoga has taken over the years--devotional ritual,
concentration-based meditation, energetic cultivation, embodied physical
practice--as a way of better understanding how we have arrived at what yoga is
today. Mostly lecture with some meditation and physical practice.

achieve greater health, concentration, and mental clarity. Qigong compliments
mindfulness practices – both supporting clarity, calm, and balanced presence.
Instruction for mindfulness meditation and Qi Gong will be
included, so this day of practice is appropriate for both beginning and
experienced practitioners. Participants may substitute walking meditation for
the Qi Gong sessions if they wish. There will be a potluck community meal
around 12:30; please bring a food dish to share.
Everyone is welcome. Chairs are provided. Bring a cushion
and mat if you prefer to sit on the floor; the floor is not carpeted.

Hip Opening Workshop
Saturday, July 18 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Breathe Los Gatos
14107-H Winchester Blvd.,
Los Gatos, CA 95032 United States
Join us for a deeply therapeutic workshop designed to
improve circulation, release stress and elevate the health of the body through
poses that focus on hips and lower back. Postural alignment in everyday
functional movement begins at the hips. Gaining support from the core at the
pelvis is the foundation for yoga, fitness, and outdoor recreation. Hip opening
poses create agility throughout the whole body. Healthy hips also ease back
pain, and relieve stress in the legs and feet. On an energetic level, we carry numerous
memories in our hips. In this workshop, we will talk about the anatomy of
movement in the hip joint and explore a variety of nurturing exercises that
will restore balance and ease from the body to the mind. We will focus on
opening the hips through a meditative flow sequence that allows the energy to
move smoothly, while building heat, increasing nutrients in the hip joints. The
class will move to stationary hip opening poses for a deeper stretch in all
dimensions of the hip, and lower back. During the last 15 minutes, the students
will enjoy a deeply relaxing guided meditation.

The ancient Yoga Sutra has become the core philosophical
text of modern yoga. Written by the sage Patañjali approximately 2000 years
ago, it defines yoga as the quieting of the mental fluctuations of the mind
with the intention of ending suffering and attaining liberation.
In the text, Patañjali offers an 8-limb structure (which
includes ethical considerations and breath work, as well as concentration and
contemplation practices) that offers a complete path for spiritual practice. In
this daylong workshop, we will explore this captivating text, and gain a deeper
understanding of the ways in which it is still highly relevant to our modern
day practice. Mostly lecture with some meditation and physical practice.

Dance and Yoga Workshop

Spring Fall Studios
Saw Tooth Building
2547 8th St.
Berkeley, CA 94710
The daily schedule will include:
Vinyasa Krama Yoga:
A highly authentic Yoga practice of slowing the mind and
body by deepening the breath. The breath
leads each movement through the series by gently awakening subtle energy
channels, rather than simply stretching muscle tissue. From asana we build up to Pranayama practices
to increase endurance for peak performance, followed by pratyahara and
meditation for fine-tuning our concentration skills. We will open each day with these practices,
which will take less than an hour to complete.
Strength training:
Specialized movements to build muscle and find balance in
order to benefit our dance bodies. These
are compiled from Colleena’s extensive background and quest for
perfection. The exercises will include
inspiration and techniques from:
Pilates, Classical Ballet training, Indian martial arts (Chhau and
Kalaripayattu) and traditional Odissi warm-ups.
Odissi stepping:
The first steps of Odissi, but not the last!
Beginners and professionals alike use this “stepping”
practice (20 + 2 basic phrases) to refine one’s rhythm sense, develop precision
in footwork, find grace in the upper body and hand movements, as well as build
stamina, confidence and dexterity through the mantra-like repetition.
During the final few days of our time together, common
movements and short dance phrases of the Odissi repertoire will also be shared
to give students a taste of what classical choreography feels like. In Odissi, choreographies are traditionally
preserved through a lineage and slowly passed on over the years.

The promise of sex is a level of
connection, meaning, and engagement that is unparalleled - in one word: orgasm.
However, we believe that the definition of orgasm has been unnecessarily
constrained. It has been reduced to a 10 second party, an empty destination,
when the whole of sex (and actually the whole of life) has the same potential
for that level of raw, unfiltered, involuntary response and reception. To us,
the journey of Sex, Relationships, and Orgasm are worthy of practice and of
mastery.
Whether you’ve taken How to OM
and are ready for a bigger bite, or you’re totally new and want to experience a
revolutionary paradigm of relating before learning to OM, Ignited Man is the
upgrade for the outdated operating system you’ve been taught.
How to OM and Ignited Man are
both essential “100-level” courses in Orgasmic education.
Learning how to handle her pussy
is equally important as learning how to handle the rest of her.
Imagine what would be possible
if you learned to do both?
Powered by the vast research and
development OneTaste has accrued in the practice and application of Orgasmic
Meditation, Ignited Man is not just a weekend. It is an initiation that will
fundamentally shift the way you see the world and illuminate the path to the
fulfillment in sex, relationships, and life that we all desire.
Ignited Man participants will:
* Experience a live
demonstration of Orgasmic Meditation by master practitioners
* Learn a completely new
paradigm for relationship based on the tenets of Orgasmic Meditation
* Uncross your internal
“wires" about sex, anxiety, desire and sensitivity and return power to the
rightful places
* Learn how to see "360
degrees" of a woman, not just the parts you’ve been trained to pay
attention to
* Discover your internal
blueprint and how purpose, sex and service can conspire to bring you true
fulfillment and discover your own blueprint for how to get there
* Learn how to convert your
“problems” into games and enjoy every aspect of relating with women
* Learn the truth about
surrender, commitment, and how to relate from “feel vs formula”
Orgasmic Meditation changed
everything for us. Men, are you ready to try something new?
Cost: $495
