The Virtual Exstatic Dance (#VED) is the opportunity to
overcome the current crisis by making the world united through music. For 24
hours, DJs from around the world will live-stream their sets, while
participants will live-stream their dance from home. United, again.
The #VED is also a platform for artists, who had to
cancel their events or are themselves stuck in quarantine, to express their
gifts and connect with the world. The entire 24 hours are guided by the sacred
principles of ecstatic dancing, which you can read below:
1. Principle - No Judgment: The #VED is a non-judmental
event, meaning that any type of move, including the absence of it, is received
and tolerated.
2. Principle - No Drugs: The #VED is a drug-free event,
encouraging people to show up sober and enjoy the experience with all their
natural senses.
3. Principle - Radical Expression: #VED encourages to let
out whatever wants to come out: whether you just want to sit, jump like a frog,
or dance ecstatically - let your body run the show.
