School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music
education, is hosting a 50th Anniversary Woodstock festival this summer.
Students from the San Mateo Chapter, and other Bay Area Schools of Rock will
perform songs from the legendary line-up including the music of Jimi Hendrix,
Santana, Janis Joplin, CCR, Jefferson Airplane, Sly and the Family Stone,
Grateful Dead, The Who, and many more. The Festival will be a family oriented
version of the infamous festival from 1969 with food, kid friendly vendors and
activities.
