In our relationships, we experience most of our greatest joys and our greatest sorrows. The intersection of modern neuroscience and ancient contemplative wisdom offers skillful means for cultivating an open and caring heart, emotional balance during conflicts with others, and more fulfilling relationships. We will cover: A summary of the Buddha’s teachings on relationships; The embodied basis in your brain of empathy, compassion, loving-kindness, and love… and how to strengthen those; Practical ways to combine strength and heart; Expanding the circle of “us” to include all of “them”.
