San Diego GypsyFest is a brand-new world music festival
featuring dozens of bands of all genres coming together to celebrate all things
gypsy! The second annual San Diego GypsyFest took place on Saturday June 10,
2017 at the De Anza Springs Resort in Jacumba, CA (one-hour East of San Diego),
San Diego GypsyFest, in addition to a robust band lineup, also features
independent performers and street musicians, live art/artists, various gypsy
entertainers and performers, and houses many new and independent vendors! Get
ready for a wild party including great food, loud music, and gypsy art!
While DeAnza Springs Resort is technically a
"clothing optional," we chose the location because of the beautiful
scenery and accommodations. That said, we're not encouraging GypsyFest patrons
to be naked. There will likely be some members of the resort that are there and
practicing nudists, but we encourage all festival-goers to be respectful.
Festival attendees may choose to wear desert festival attire. Shoes are also
strongly recommended.
