Whoever we are and whatever we do, we experience physical
and mental pain. In this retreat, Santosh Philip will take us through four key
exercises that are tools for alleviating pain.
In the first exercise, creative imagination is utilized
to shift our relationship to pain. The second helps us bypass the entangling
stories that tie inner sensations to suffering. The final two exercises connect
us with a fundamental vitality that underlies enjoyment and pain. The retreat
will include discussion on how to apply the exercises in dealing with both
acute and chronic pain.
The teachings and practices are based on Tarthang Tulku’s
Dynamics of Time and Space.
All levels of students are welcome at this retreat.
Cost: $95
(includes vegetarian lunch, no accommodation).
