Free Path of Happiness Workshop in San Francisco

Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM PDT

Harvey Art Studio
244 Andover St
San Francisco, CA 94110

How would you like to take a couple of hours to reflect on how you can be more centered, and how you can get in touch with your higher motives?

Ramona Harvey, the workshop facilitator, will share with you the Path of Happiness framework she developed after 2 1/2 years of research on what it means to be happy. You'll dig into understanding how you got to be who you are now, uncovering your personal motivators and self-blocks, understanding your personal values, and reflect on your own wisdom.

Ramona spent the years of research on what it means to be happy. She wanted to understand why some people are happier, more satisfied and fulfilled than others. After interviewing people from several countries, and reading Positive Psychology, Anthropology, Philosophy, and Poetry, she developed a HAPPINESS FRAMEWORK that has all the "ingredients" that encompass the foundation of personal, subjective well-being. I am currently writing a book on what I've learned so far.

Come indulge yourself.

Tantric Expansion Cacao Ceremony ~ San Francisco

Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM PDT

Yoga Society of San Francisco
2872 Folsom Street
San Francisco, CA 94110

Join transformational facilitator Nick Meador for a cacao ceremony weaving together holistic (mind/body/spirit) therapeutic practices to break through what’s limiting your true potential and start maximizing your life purpose and fulfillment.

This will be a "white tantra" experience focused on soul healing and life force expansion. We'll de-armor the body and clarifying the mind so that we can create more productive life patterns. This opens up the path to more bliss and connection with the divine, whether within ourselves, with a partner, or with a whole community.

This is not specifically a couple's workshop. Individuals and pairs are all welcome.

We’ll have an opening circle to support each other with intention for the ceremony. Nick will serve the indigenous plant medicine cacao, grown organically in eastern Guatemala at a family farm that he visited personally. Pure cacao opens the heart, deepens meditative experiences, and fosters inner/outer connection.

Then Nick will lead you through an embodied practice such as an OSHO active meditation or a bioenergetics exercise. These shake things up on the cellular level, so we can reset the nervous system and re-write the muscle memory to literally feel freer and more energized.

Afterwards we'll have an interpersonal exercise that still involves the body but adds in a communication element. This could range from re-patterning unhelpful social conditioning, to guidance around safe touch and intimacy. Then Nick will lead an integration circle to close the journey.

Cost: $20 - $30

Holding Boundaries: A Radical Act of Self-Care

Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM

breathe holistic health
900 N San Antonio Rd., suite 101,
Los Altos, CA

Learning how to hold boundaries is both a healing process and a radical act of self-care. As children, so many of us experienced constant boundary violations – our feelings, instincts, and body were not honored and were constantly overridden by our parents, our teachers, and other authority figures. As a result, we stopped listening to the signals that let us know a boundary was being violated.

In this experiential workshop, we’ll rediscover the ways that our bodies and emotions inform us that a boundary is being crossed and practice accessing our own wisdom and strength to hold boundaries with others. This workshop is a wonderful opportunity for any who struggle identifying and holding healthy boundaries with their partners, family members, co-workers, friends and/or children and want a safe place to explore and develop their boundary-holding skills.

In this experiential workshop series, we’ll create a safe space where you can explore the following questions:

• How do you know when a boundary is being crossed? How do your body and your emotions signal you that a boundary is not being respected?
• How do you “stay with yourself” – your experience, your truth – and stay out of taking emotional responsibility for the other person’s experience?
• What fears and beliefs keep you from forming clear boundaries or speaking up when a boundary is crossed? How can you move through those fears in order to stand for yourself?
• What language can you use to communicate your boundaries cleanly, with clarity and compassion?
• What do you do when someone repeatedly crosses your boundary, no matter how clearly you have communicated it to them?

It can be a deeply empowering act to trust your own signals and to take care of yourself by holding a boundary. Come join us for this exploration of boundaries and take a step toward an even deeper caring for and honoring of your own value, your needs, and your heart.
