How to Love Workshop

Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST

The Nexus Center
1436 Howard Street
#201
San Francisco, CA

Many of us are overwhelmed dealing with everything we need to handle in our daily lives that we lose the most basic principal of the way of living, LOVE.

I've attended dozens of workshops and classes to heal myself and have learned so much. One thing I have learned boils down to this statement: "TO LOVE and BE LOVED."

So I am here to share my experiences with you on How to Love. This may well be the most satisfying workshop you've ever taken.

Based on my healing experiences, we cannot truly love when unprocessed emotions are stuck in our bodies. This is a forceful way of taking something out of it when it is not ready to be expressed.

We will dive into those stuck places and express the unprocessed emotions out of our body. We will release them, physically, emotionally, and energetically in a trusted and safe environment. Then we will add new programs to connect you with your divine true self and best version of you, and embody them through play, movement, breathwork, sound healing, and body language.

You will guided to do this with playfulness, gentleness and light-heartedness - alone, with partners, and collectively together.

Come join us. Escape the ordinary and play extraordinary!

Part 1: Vitality 101:Activate Your Vital Code
Your body is a treasure. Tap into the mystery of the body through alchemy of breath, movement, and sound in a trusted environment. Give yourself full permission to express your desire within. Experience diversified ancient wisdom with Western modalities to activate the floodgate of vitality and live an orgasmic passionate life 24/7. Why Not?!

Part 2: Intimacy 101: Disconnection to Embodyment
Everyone wants connections, yet this seems the hardest thing.
Into-Me-See. We cultivate the mysteries of the subconscious world, retrieve, and restore soul-to-soul connection. A blend of imaginative, multi-level collective consciousness will guide us to an endless playground of self-expression and human potential through body language, primal sound and movement - alone and together - spontaneously.

Part 3: Duality 101: Exploring Spectrum of Duality (Masculine Vs. Feminine)
Sexuality is Life-Force Energy! Reboot your mind and release outdated systems of domesticated gender roles to reclaim who you really are... Empower your sexuality by releasing physical and emotional blocks through guided movement, sound, play, and breathwork to express emotions without judgement in our trusted circle, then we meet halfway. Totality - the sacred space to create ritual for unity and harmony, beyond separation and rewrite the story of us as a whole.

You would experience:
·         Cacao ceremony for heart opening
·         Easy 3 step Quantum Breathwork and Meditation
·         Pelvis-Heart Integration movement
·         Cutting energetic cord to release past toxic relationships
·         Express your emotions, release stuck energy and old negative patterns
·         Shamanic Sound Healing
·         Embodied intimacy exercise (non-sexual)
·         How to turn on and off your duality of femininity and masculinity
·         Activating senses to elevate Intuition and manifest

Cost: $77

Shakta Tantra: The Gift of it All

Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM PST

Butterfly Villa
Woodside, CA

I am delighted to warmly invite you to spend a Saturday afternoon with a beautiful group of people at a gorgeous Woodside villa. This will be an afternoon of embracing even more of ourselves though deep inquiry, meditation, mantra and connection with ourselves and our fellow humans. We’ll engage in some solo and some partner Tantric practices.

Shakta Tantra is a heart- and The Sacred Feminine centered lineage of Tantra. The creative life force that brings the worlds into being is celebrated inside and outside of ourselves. We invoke her radiant presence by including all parts of ourselves and the existence at large, shining the Light on them, and inviting them to play.

This workshop is suitable for couples and singles. Couples are welcome to stay together, rotate or try a mixture of both. The workshop is fully clothed and there is no explicit sexuality. There might be some spontaneous cuddles and warm affections exchanged though :)

This four-hour workshop will delight your senses with taste, touch, smell, sound, poetry and the magical music of your own heart. We’ll engage in beautiful experiences, and also explore the parts of ourselves that we don’t always show, the parts that needs love the most. This will be a mixture of deep work, delightful human connection and sweet restful snuggles.

Oakland, California

Welcome to Erratic Dance! It's a dance party where you can be free to express yourself, erratically. Get up, get down, fall on the floor. Weirdos and clowns are WELCOME. Non-consensual behavior is NOT WELCOME. No Creepers.

Awesome musical artists/ DJa providing the beats - Rachel Lark will be performing an acoustic hip hop set!

Followed by Local 808 Presents Shadow City!
With DJs Mischa, Benja, JK47 (Andrew & Nick) and maybe more!!!

This is NOT Erotic Dance. This is NOT Ecstatic Dance. This is Erratic Dance.

Rules of Erratic Dance:
1. Dance - It's called "Erratic Dance," NOT "Erratic Stand Around and Talk to Your Friend in the Middle of the Dance Floor."

2. Ask First - Ask before you dance with someone. Maybe if they don't look at you, don't even ask. Some people don't even want to be asked. If you don't know, let them be. Some people want to dance alone.

3. Share the Space - Yes. Your dance moves are DOPE. Leave room for other people's DOPE dance moves. Don't let your dance thing take over the space.

Thanks for helping to make this a great event!

Three in One: The Evening of Klezmer and Eastern European Music

Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 8 PM – 11:55 PM

PLACE for Sustainable Living
1121 64th Street,
Oakland, California

Coming together on the eve of Hanukah, a lineup of three great klezmer and Romanian projects will perform individual sets and collaborations for a not-to-be-missed concert featuring master musicians touring from New York City and Montreal.

Orchestra Euphonos is a Bay Area-based Eastern European folk and klezmer band. Their uplifting sound is characterized by a brass and woodwind melodic front line. Orchestra Euphonos performs songs and melodies from Romania and Moldova. Their performances are joyous occasions filled with wild takes on old favorites, group improvisations and more than a few opportunities to dance.

Peter Bonos (trumpet), Balder Ten Cate (cimbalom), Zina Pozen (accordion), Matthew Stein (Violin), Asaf Ophir (clarinet) Travis Hendrix (bass), & Ivan Velev (percussion)

Sergiu Popa - Accordion

Sergiu was born in 1981, in Chisinau, Moldova. He had completed his studies at Stefan Neaga music college as well as two years of studies at the Conservatory of Moldova before emigrating to Canada in 2002. Since a young age, he also simultaneously studied traditional folk and Roma (Gypsy) styles with his father, Ion Popa, himself a well-recognized Gypsy accordionist in Moldova. Over many years of playing alongside his father at weddings, he became familiar with Jewish, Turkish, Russian, Serbian and Bulgarian styles as well. Despite his young age, he is quickly establishing a reputation as one of most brilliant accordionists in Canada today. He has co-founded the Sergiu Popa Ensemble with his wife (violinist Jessica Gal), a group which was discovered by Musique Multi-Montréal, a reputable world music agency, in 2006. Since then, they have performed at numerous festivals and concert series in Quebec, and were selected to receive the 2007 Radio-Canada Étoiles Galaxie award.

Jake Shulman-Ment - violin, vocals, accordion, guitar
Eleonore Weill - vocals, flutes, accordion, hurdy gurdy

Internationally acclaimed musicians from New York and France, Jake Shulman-Ment and Eleonore Weill share an exceptionally expressive and intimate understanding of klezmer and Yiddish folk song. In this program, they perform old songs of political and social resistance, wandering, and love, instrumental dances and improvisations, and spiritual melodies. Combining music they have played since childhood with material they have collected along their many roads through Europe and North America, as well as original compositions, they explore the boundaries of Yiddish music with creative repertoire, instrumentation, and interpretation. The concert will also include participatory dancing.
